We are Andy & Mary Mumford from the UK and we’re writing this blog to document our “Grey Gap Year & Beyond”.
Over the years we have been lucky enough to see many countries, both through work and on holidays (the usual weekends, week, fortnight type things ranging from the budget through to the occasional luxury option), but this time we’re going on a much longer trip – 12 months! Yes, we’ve reached the ripe old ages of late 50’s / early 60’s and decided to take the plunge; resignations have been submitted, house is to be rented, belongings are to be put in storage and bags are to be packed. What happens next is anyone’s guess so please join us on our adventure and hopefully you’ll feel inspired to attempt something similar.
