Last year when we had to cancel our Grey Gap Year we, somewhat over optimistically, rebooked three key items for 2021. And, yep, you’ve guessed it, we’ve just had those cancelled now as well!!
So what next?
Well, we’re going to try to do the full year of travelling again in 2022 – rebooking is in progress already! Hopefully in 2021 we’ll get our vaccines and a chance to explore some of our own beautiful country – depending of course on how a certain little organism is behaving.
And in the meantime we’re going to drag our stuff back out of the storage unit to save some money, although I can’t see us unpacking the boxes (that’s a step too far and we’re not accepting defeat just yet)! No spare room in this house this year then!! We’ll continue on our walks (never walked so much in our lives), stock the shelves in our local shop (oh and Mary is starting back in the NHS helping the vaccination programme team here), squabbling over who is doing the next wasgij puzzle, Andy will continue his baking and Mary her card making.
